Selected Cultural Aspects of Migration of Registered Nurses into Czech Hospitals

(in English): The subject of the bachelor thesis i a theoretical-empirical analysis and interpretation of labor migration of foreign nurses to Czech hospitals. Special attention was paid to the issue of adaptation of foreign nurses into new environment and to the obstacles that the must face during the migration process. In this thesis I applied a case study method with an emphasis on qualitative research using a form of a semi-structured interview. I obtained my research sample with the so-called "snowball" method. I conducted interview with selected respondents and then performed an analysis and interpretation of these interviews. My motivation to choose this topic was my own experience of working in the nursing field, which allowed me to get an access to respondents and to perform an informed interpretation of complex phenomena in a particular labor environment. The subject of this thesis was to describe selected aspects of labor migration of foreign nurses to Czech hospitals by answering the formulated research questions.
